Day #1, Arrived safely in Guatemala today

We're in Guatemala now and everything went very well. Connections were great, flights left on time, smooth air travel, and we were in Guatemala City at 10:15 a.m. Immigration and Customs were easy and then we were on our way to Antigua.

Chaperones took turns going to the bank to exchange money then we went out for a late lunch. Returned to hotel and then went back out to markets to look at all the Guatemalan handicrafts. Had dinner with our Safe Passage coordinator at Cafe Sky and now it's off to a good night's rest.

Tomorrow starts with a 7 a.m. breakfast meeting time then we leave to 8 a.m. for our Safe Passage orientation. Will format photos later, too late now.
